Mixing S4 and S5 Housings...Good?? Bad??Been There Done That??

the leading spark plug hole is about an 1/8inch lower in the S5 housing.

does it matter where the spark initiates from?

just wondering if anyone has an educated opinion on why this would be a bad idea.

thanks

no, you can't mix them.. either use all S4 or all S5.

I know the irons for the REW are different becuase the port sizes are much larger, thats also why im pretty sure that the TII intake will not bolt up to them, thus why people don't mix FD irons with FC housings.

The REW housings are superior to the FC due to a carbon coating on the inner wall, it reduces friction thus only one oil injector per rotor housing on the FD, instead of two like on the FC. They can be used with FC irons.
