Missing on high RPM

Ok Ive got an 88 vert and it idles perfect. When I get up to about 2000 rpm and above it starts missing. When going down the road it surges really bad. It cuts out and then you get a really smooth burst of power that throws you back in the seat and then it will cut again. Ive put new plugs, wires, fuel filter. It has always smelled a little gassy and yes Ive checked the FPD about 100 times. Im begining to thick Ive got a bad secondary injector. Does that sound right or is there something else I should check before I go ripping off the manifolds.

hey i'm not going to be much of help, but if your injectors were faulty at all then that could be the cause of your missing. also fuel pump, but usually those just either work or don't work. so yea, you're on the right track with moving into checking your fuel system and how it's working

Fuel pump appears to be fine when i repressured it up. Would the tps let it idle fine and screw up at high RPMS?

Sounds like a coil. Bad o-rings... I DONT THINK...are going to cause your cut...it really sounds like you have a coil that is breaking down...kinda like in the first gen's when an ignitor goes bad...
