miss firing when cold normal?

miss firing when cold normal?

when my motor is cold i can hear it missing. like a purrrrr purrrrr pshh purrr purrr. is this normal? no problems driving, and it goes away when its warmed up.

humm i have a similar problem. does it sputter really bad when you hit the gas?

well nm then. ithink that misfiring noise you here is normal tho its just burning so much fuel at idle that you get tinny backfires

more fuel when cold ..so it runs rough ,plugs prone to fouling a bit..so people like to remove the washers off thier plugs to get the spark at the fuel..(little antisieze)..that's what I'vre read here..just passin info ..Wankel Christmas and a Rotary New Year!

It's not a misfire by the computer or spark plugs, it's the excess fuel burning off in the motor during cold startup. I've noticed if I de-flood the engine at cold startup it cranks like a champ, but when you just start her up it does what you're saying. I'm assuming my old leaky injectors are the cause.

yes my injectors are pretty leaky. i\'m wanting to get a set of low imp injectors and have them rebuilt and flow tested.
