Little mishap today...
While re-installing the ECU (w/RTEK stage 2!), the shield that covers the ECU cut into the 12V/IGN/GND wires... by the time I smelled the smoke, at least one wire was RED!
Ran into the kitchen for the extinguisher after turning off the ignition, returned to a garage full o'smoke, but thankfully no fire. Hope I didn't do any more damage than what was done to the wires. Luckily, the PO had ran the 3 wires from the steering column to the ECU, and didn't use the existing wiring. Tomorrow isn't looking like a fun day; more to follow.

Open and inspect - DONE
So here's the damage... not quite as bad as it could have been.
why its got liquid on it... IDK, but it isn't water! guess some byproduct of melting PVC.
I got some MILSPEC shielded wiring from work that they were going to throw away, but after I thought about it, it just seems too bulky. Cool though!
Looks like I may be hooking up my Palm tonight! And not THAT Palm

Just tried to start the car... SUCCESS!
The palm connects and everything, idles at about a 14.7-15.1 AFR, so I suppose its time for me to start working in the RTEK section.
I played with the fuel map a little bit, but nothing changed the reading I was getting on my wideband... I guess I just dont know how to do it quite yet.
