mid corner power loss

ok so heres the problem when i go a round a corner slow then put my foot in it will rev up to 4k ish sometimes more then i get a power loss. i have a full tank of gas so i know its not that. i also know that the 5/6th ports arent always opening,,, so could this be it??

athe car is a s4 n/a with about 1k miles on the rebuild. streetported no emissions and the tb mod done. it doesnt do it all the time so im thinking it might be the 5/6th ports not opening cause i have a exhaust leak at the 1/2nd pre-cats.

so does anyone else have any idea what it might be??

5th/6th ports unrelated. They are only there to improve performance; older rotaries don't even have them and they are not required at all.

If power cuts out in the corners it's often the fuel tank baffles.

Pull the pump pickup and replace the sock and check the tank for rust. There is a door under the carpet in the hatch on the drivers side with a blue wire runing through it.

++++

Fuel sock is the filter ON the fuel pump. It most definitely will cause that problem. And you might wanna get a impact screw driver incase those screws are rusted badly... and replace them.
