microtech lt8 installed - no oil pressure any ideas ?

O.k. this project has taken me about 14 months but last night I got to the point where I got to get it started but I got to prime turbo etc. so coils disconnected fuel pump off as you do and ...........no presure after about 60 seconds of turning it over in ten second bursts. only put about 3 and a half litres of oil in up to know but I cannot see why that would make a difference.

I took off the top oil line on the turbo to see if there was any oil there and not a single drop!!!!!!!!!

then taken the oil line off at the front of the engine the one that goes to the top of the oil cooler and that also was dry as a bone!!!!!!

could anyone have any suggestions other than having to check pick up pipe and make sure chain is still on the engine or oil pump broken. Engine was built around eight months ago - could the oil pump have seized or anything???

any help is very much appreciated.
thanks
jamie
