microtech & boost sensor Q

hi, i have a micro tech running in my car. I've broken the nipple to the stock boost sensor, and was wondering if i needed it?

So far so good. But i haven't pushed it onto boost that much. The reason i'm asking is because i didn't oversee the microtech install, and also, i have another car, n12, which uses a AFM, but also has a similar little boost sensor thing, which is used for the stock boost guage. Oh and my rx7's stock boost gauge never worked since i got the car. Thanks

oh yes, my mircotech does not control boost in anyway

The microtech does not require that sensor. It is used in your situation to operate the stock boost gauge. Since your stock gauge does not work anyways you can remove the sensor.
