metal under fender liner.

when you pull the fender liner off the fc. theres this big metal peice right under it... is that part of the unibody frame? my tires rub it so any ill effects from bashing it up to get more clearance? thanks

hmm, what about cuting out that hump section then boxing in the open area's? that couldnt be too bad eh?

It's all part of the uniframe.
I wouldn't mess with it unless you know what you're doing.
In general double wall stuff are all stressed members.
