I read on the forum a while ago that you could get metal gaskets for inbetween the upper and lower intake manifold? Is this true? If so where could I get them? I also read about the pain it can be to scrape the paper ones off. I e-mailed mazdatrix.com but they said they only had the paper ones. Thanks!

The only metal gaskets Im aware of are the new ones mazda has been putting out with some of their gasket kits (yes some, not all, dunno why) for the lower intake manifold to block connnection, especially on nonturbo engines. I still have a couple of these spare. I have never seen or heard tell of one for the middle or upper intake.
