Lightbulb Merkur turbo on tii ?

I was wondering if it is possible to replace the s4 turbo with the merkur turbo? What would be the pros and cons? I’ve heard the merkur turbo has do 15psi all day. Any input would be great. thanks

I believe it's a tiny T3 (pushing a 2.3l 4-cylinder?).
The turbo is too small.
It might make 200hp, but not much else more...

Yes it is too small for a rotary.

I had it on my old integra and it made 330 whp.

I think the compressor is bigger than a stock S4's compressor but the turbine is alot smaller. It would be tapped out well before a stock turbo.

Ok I was offered one and was just wondering. Thanks for all the input. No wonder I didn’t find anything when I search, that should have been my first clue. What would be a good upgrade (as far as turbos go) that won’t break the bank? Is there a turbo off another car that’s a popular choose, or does everyone usually buy aftermarket. I’m not looking to be pushing 20 psi, just 10-15 comfortably.

You can go with a hybrid. T04 compressor with the stock hotsides. Check out http://www.rx7store.net
