I wasn't aware of anybody other than drifters or autocrossers using Stance. Do you have a web link to any IRL, LeMans, GTP, or other high-end professional race team using Stance products?

Your right man, Stance is mostly used for drift, autocross, time attack. N.A.S.A Time Trial R Class 2007 Champion was a evo with Stance GR+.
I bet most of the "high-end professional race teams" at LeMans are going to opt for something a bit more advanced than the Stance GR+, these are entry level coilovers not top of the line. But that doesn't mean they are good enough for most of us. I don't drift my car but I really like the ride with the GR+ plus it looks great.

Unless there is some deep-discount internet dealer that sells the Chinese and Japanese stuff cheaper than what I found on the internet, I am not seeing much of a price advantage here. I would rather spend the extra $150-250 to get the good stuff. While I understand that not everybody has a lot of money, it is still my opinion that if you don't have the extra $150-250 for the better stuff then you have no business wasting $900 on coilovers in the first place. I fully understand if no RX-7 owner wants to buy the JRZs, lol.
Race-level items in bold:
$900 Megan Racing Coilovers
$900 K-Sport Pro Damper Coilovers
$1050 ISC Racing Bilstein Coilover Kit
$1150 GC Coilover Kit with Eibach ERS Springs + Koni Dampers
$1150 Stance GR+ Coilovers
$1550 Tein Flex or Superdrift Coilovers
$2200 HKS Hiper Damper Coilovers
$6300 JRZ RS Pro W/ Remote Reservoirs + Eibach ERS Race & Helper Springs
Why don't these cheapie brands make something more useful like a low-cost bushing kit?

Old Rotary Dog
$870 - GC Coilover Kit and Ebay KYB AGX's
Certainly no where near a true race setup, but they match okay with the spring rates I run, they are predictable and I've beaten the snot of them for the last few seasons (since I got the car) and they seem to have held up well (so far).
I think that the take-away from all this is that if you are in the market for suspension upgrades, don't immediately jump on the "Integrated Coilovers are better, Bro!" bandwagon. There are some cheaper setups that may not be all that polished looking but that work very well and have a long proven race history (esp. the GC and ISC setups).

Old Rotary Dog
I've seen Koni yellows out there for $420(f)+$300(r) plus around $420 for the GC setup. That adds up about right.
[edit - actually with a little more searching, it looks like rx7store.net has them for $600/set.]
You have to do the strut inserts yourself, of course.

Ijust bought Megan coilovers.I found this on an other site,The MR coilovers are also fully rebuildable, with MR's ultra convenient dampener insert exchange program. For $75/corner, they will send you a brand new dampener insert. You then simply return your cores. No downtime, as opposed to traditional dampener rebuilds that require that your coilovers be removed and sent in for service. Rebuild intervals on the MR's average 45K miles, which is comparable to most fixed perch struts.

What's the ride quality for the Megans and K-Sport coilovers like? I get paranoid about coilovers because of a previous experience involving my S14 and a very stiff/ badly matched set of coilovers. For those who currently have them, if you wouldn't mind chiming in it would be greatly appreciated. If you could include some comments on its performance that would be great as well. I auto-x every so often, and if you could comment on if you would get them again.
Thanks in Advance
