Me at Willow Springs! (pics)

We got invited by our friend that works at Speed Gallery in studio city to go out to Willow Springs and spend the day at the track for FREE!! They specialize in porsches, so as you can imagine there was at least a dozen twin turbo porsche's, a few ferrari's, a viper, and a few other very nice cars. It was a blast, and im going to be looking into getting some kind of camera mount for next time... the highlight of my day is when I passed a boxer in the back straight! =P anyways... enjoy!

heres a shot of the Rotary Power drift car in action

Nice, just wondering if you had any getting to warm issues and is it rebuilt?

Actually, im not 100% sure about the oil temp on my car since I have no aftermarket gauge, but if the water temp on the stock gauge gets 75% of the way up on an S5 TII, then that means the oil temp is basically all the way HOT, and my water temp barely even moved up, so I had no problems. And yes it is a rebuilt j-spec motor with roughly 50k on it. I was redlining it the whole way around the track as well...

I love hot lapping! I've been to two, two day high performance driving schools at Spokane Raceway Park that were put on by the BMW Car Club of America (great schools, I highly reccomend that you go to at least one school). The highlight of my last weekend at the track was passing a Lotus Esprit S4!

Too bad we on the east coast don't have anything like that. Each trip to the track costs $300.00 plus.
