mazdatrix strut bar question need to drill into firewall

i jus got one of these for my birthday from all my friends, but is the one with the firewall brace nd the engine torque brace.. has anyone installed one of these in their car before? also can you pleas give me some tips on how to drill the holes in the firewall.. im not trying to rush nd put it in right away, i know it will probably take some time to put in..

Drill and drillbit would be a first step. You will need to remove the wipers, cowl trim and likely the wiper motor. It's generally straightforward. Mount the bar to the shock towers, then locate your holes on the firewall. Center punch, drill a pilot hole, and then drill out to your final diameter. Apply rust paint to the edges of the hole, the install the bar using the proper bolts and lockwashers.
