there is a difference between a short throw shifter and a shortened shifter...figure it out. cutting the shifter does not make the throw shorter.

i actually just cut my shifter down today. it sits probably about 4 inches high with the MOMO Race shift **** on it. i just took it for a spin and it was great, shifts a hell of alot faster now, and looks better. i cant believe how high it was before, it was like a damn truck. but in my opinion, it was not hard to do, and i think it came out damn good. i just used a grinder to shave some metal off, and then cut the threads completely off cause the MOMO **** goes on with a rubber grommet.

ive been driving it around all night, shifts like lightning compared to how it used to. just take the shifter assembly out and grind the bastard down. its not ahrd at all.
