Make sure you get the license plate chunk of plastic as well.

I've got a pair with the liscence plate part, too, and all nuts for install. One of them has a 4" hole in it for some reason. I got them from a junk yard for $50, But don't need them... Greg C.

yep - Ebay has them - search "RX7 tail lights" - / go to the lower section after the bid items and they have them there for I think around $125.00 a set brand new or perfect condition imported from Japan. Shipping was around $40.00.

You can use the Center (licence plate holder) Portion of the S4 Tail lights and install the S% tail lights.you will need to Shave some plastic off of it however. It isn't anything Major to do.(been there done that, and Got an Apple from the teacher!).When you Put the s5 Tails onto the s4,you will have to Remove/Cut a small Piece of metal on the inner body. This is where the Lights Poke into the back so you can just change them from under the Rear Spare tire Compartment...OH!, and if you are Converting you will be better suited to get the S5 tail-light harnesses for the lights themselves.you will find out that One Light Connector is Different on the S4 lights and won't fit into the Tail-lights Housing correctly..other than That?,it is a Piece of Cake!

Yes, the wiring is the same for the s4 and s5 tail lights. They're plug-and-play if you have the center piece, or just require several minutes with a dremmel tool if you need to modify an s4 liscense plate surround.

They LOOK the same.but Have you actually Looked at the Bulb holders?..they "click and Turn in"a Bit Different..Trust me man.I did 2 s4-s5 tail light conversion Last year..The Wiring Harness,YES,that is Plug and Play, but If you use the S4 Lights/Harness that go Into the Rear Tails, you are going to find That ONE Bulb just won't Click into it's spot right(I am sure it is the MIDDLE Bulb)..and IF you compare the S4 to the S5 Taillight Harness, you will see what I mean!.anyhow..That is what I found..sort of a Little Extra info, that is Not really Necessary but always "good to know"!..Take care guys.STYX!~

the only thing is you dont actually have to cut that little chunk of metal off...you could just bend it back.....thats what we did with a couple of my friends s5's....they were to afraid to cut so we just bent

thanks for the useful info. i read about the bending and grinding and trimming but i didnt know about the plugs. i can manage some minor wiring job so i should be ok w/o the harness... ill grab it if i can find one for cheap.
