Mazda Motor Restoration?
I just had my engine rebuilt by RP and they used "good used" rotor housings, as my old ones where all thrashed up (no mechanical damage...just extreme wear).
Anyway, my front rotor housing has "Mazda Motor Restoration, Hiroshima Japan" cast into the top of the housing. I google searched it and come up with nothing. Can anyone shed some light as to what housing this is? Is it a re-manufactured housing or something?

Hold on....I have a pic. I'll upload it.
EDIT: Pic didn't turn out good. I have an SLR, but my lens will not get that close and I cannot get it in focus. It is cast right up above the "13B MAZDA" casting. It also isn't just a stamp, it is actually casted into the housing and has a licensing number below it as well. Strange and interesting indeed.

Here we go...took some work but heres the best shots I can get with the motor put together and in the engine bay. Its bits and parts of the text that is cast on top of the housing. The first pic is of the Mazda and part of "Hiroshima, Japan" casting, the middle pic has part of the word "license" and the last is the "restoration" portion.
By the way, it also does not have the knock sensor hole above the trailing spark plug hole, but it is definately an S5 housing.

its says mazda motors CORPORATION. just like every other s4 housing.
if its a t2 the JDM t2 housings have the s5 plug locations, its also got a small N318 cast in by the oil injector

The spark plug locations are correct for an S5. Also, the lower casting of the housing isn't smooth, but has the ridge characteristic of S5 housings, unlike the smooth one of the S4 housings I have seen.
I have an S5 vert by the way.
Edit: Wait, hold on, that doesn't make any sense. I have a 6 port NA motor, it can't be an S4 JDM TII housing.

So can anyone speak about seeing an S5 housing with "Mazda Motor Corporation" cast onto it? I measured the plug holes and they are S5 style, and it definately isn't a turbo housing as it has 6 ports.
Strange JDM housing maybe?

And yes, it runs...it runs like a bat out of hell. It's a brand new engine with ported exhaust! (yes, I know turbo is faster, but for an NA vert, its good).
