Mazda dealership for service?
So I took my 89 GTUs to the Mazda dealership to get checked out. The only major problem with the car is that 5 of the 6 exhaust hangers are broke and the last one is about half-way done.
The Good:
-New Belts
-New Fluids
-New battery
-Interior lights work
-Exterior lights (except turn signals) work
-All 4 brakes and rotors check out good
-Moonroof motor is still running strong and they greased up the tracks for me
The Bad:
-Exhaust hangers are done
-Automatic seatbelts are broken and they don't want to replace them since they say they already have before for the recall
-Carburetor needs a rebuild
-Need to fix electrical so the turn signals and brights work
-Need a radio
-Need A/C
I got to sit and watch and talk to the guy working on my car while he was doing it. He does know a decent amount about rotarys, he had his first gen parked 2 cars down from mine playing music while he worked.
The people there were actually all pretty knowledgeable. I was talking to the guy working the parts desk as to what would be good parts to replace on my car and what parts I can leave alone for now. Not like the idiots over at nissan. I went to a nissan dealership a little while back and popped the hood on one of the new Maxima SV's because I hadn't seen one before. The guy walked over and asked me if I was interested. I played along and said sure. He asked me if I wanted to upgrade to the V8 Package.
The dealership was the Fairbanks Mazda in Longwood on 17-92 in case anyone was interested.
My questions are:
The exhaust hangers don't look like their that much work, but I could be wrong. Is their a trick to getting the exhaust hangers back on?
Where would I be able to get a rebuild kit for a 4-barrel 660CFM Holley carb? Are their different kits that will give me better performance in the end?

Exhaust hangers are trivial for any exhaust shop. They just get welded onto the pipe...
You have a carburetor on your car? Any auto parts store should carry the rebuild kit.

And are all rebuild kits the same? Because I know I need a rebuild kit, but I want to up my accelerator pump since I was told it is bad and was what was causing my car to have random hesitations.
I'm guessing it's not a stock RX-7.
The dealers have to perform the seatbelt recall. Search for the many seatbelt recall threads.
You can buy the rubber rings at a lot of places. The dealership can order some.
Turn signal is a turn signal switch issue. Get a new or rebuilt switch. Search the forum for places.

And I already ordered the rubber rings.
And I'm thinking your right on the turn signal issue considering I can physically pull the switch off the dash... I'll look into it more when I get home.
