Question Maybe it is too simple? (exhaust ?)

Ok here is the thing I have been thinking about the whole 6 port activation question when people gut thier cats....can't a ball valve be attached between the nipple and the pipe that connects to the cat and adjusted to open the ports at 3500 rpm?

I am currently thinking of doing this but wonder what you guys think.....

This auxilary ports already have a check valve. adding another wouldn't help.

On S4 cars, the back pressure of the exhaust is what opens the auxilary ports. Free flowing exhaust kills the backpressure needed to open them. Adding a check valve in your location wouldnt add backpressure, and adding one in the exhaust would kill the flow, thus nullifying any point to adding exhaust.

Nice try though.
