^ Werd. Off topic, but does anyone have the black 787B? That thing looks so much better than the green and orange one.

did you make yours or do they sell them
buy an intake from a 92-95 civic. you'll have to cut a little bit, but the bend is exactly what you need. It even comes with the nipple for your BOV. buy a filter and you could have the perfect TID for less than $50. thats what i did, you can REALLY hear it when the turbo spools. it's like the aluminum amplifies the sound!!

I have all the black cars..and they 787b in black looks good..=) Anyways run a straight exhaust and intake, or you could just take off all the body panels in the front. =D

thats because your wheel has to much play. I had another turbo that did this. It sounded mean as hell because the wheel was hitting the housing. Won't be long before you will be replacing it or it blows through your engine.
yep, I have a used s5 turbo + manifold, just don't have $200 for gaskets yet. There is oil in the front, when theres no oil line into the intake :/

maybe I'm stupid.... but doesn't a lot of the turbo noise come from the wastegate? which is why cars that have open vented wastegates have really really loud turbos....??

no not really. its kinda the other way around. most BIG, high quality turbos(biggerturbo=more noise) do not have internal wastegates. so an external wategate is needed. wastegates only make noise at peek boost. and they kinda sound like a deep fluttering.
