around 10-11ish is when the stock intercooler looses its efficiency.

^^^ yeah, I've heard 12 is REALLY pushing it and you wouldn't want to do it for long, so that sounds about right.

Are you guys giving advice on turbo or intercooler? Sounds like your saying turbo pressure numbers.

As for what the TMIC can take. I have no clue but the TMIC sucks *** in most applications. Generally if your going with a big turbo big also upgrading the intercooler. I recommend the Isuzu NPR intercooler

I personally do 12-14psi on my stock turbo and TMIC. Sucks *** from a stop light and is usually hot enough to cook steak when I pop the hood.

you spelled intercooler wrong sorry, the correct spelling of our rx7 top mount intercooler is interheater. Have a good day.

How about the stock TMIC with AI(methanol)? How much more can the IC take? up to 20psi for the turbo you think?

No. The TMIC doesn't cool very well. I've heard of 14-16(MAX) if you move it up front, but it also depends on the turbo - if you got a GT40 pushing 14lbs of boost vs a stock turbo, the air from the GT40 will be a LOT cooler. Basically if you're not using a stock turbo, it's best not to use a stock IC
