15 psi on hybrid stock turbo? There's no power at that boost level for this turbo. Just a bunch of unnecessary heat + I don't think it'll hold it till red line.

Anything after 12 is just point less.

Sorry *TOUCH* but NOW I really dont believe what hes saying. I dont even know what to believe from him anymore.

TD06 Greddy turbo- wrong.
T04 turbo - wrong
348 hp @ 12psi on stock turbo - also worng.

On this thread, REted shows his dyno sheet. Alot more believable than yours. Stand alone, 720cc x4 injectors, 11 psi, stock turbo.

https://www.rx7club.com/time-slips-dyno-128/stock-turbo-240hp-dyna-pack-764707/

This is my friend Jake at the dyno. Microtech LT10s with X4 box and 4 bosch coils, 750cc pirmaries, 1000cc secondaries, stock hybrid turbo (1 bar and it doesnt hold), and stock intercooler, 3 inch (not 2.5) Down pipe with no "test pipe" just 3" DP and full 3" exhaust, ACT prolite (8lbs) flywheel, 3 puck clutch and HD pressure plate

<embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i48.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid48.photobucket.com/albums/f228/turbo_hatch93/whereitsay059.flv">

I recorded this dyno run. And no one else had a camera to record my dyno pull.
But Im running 12 psi on stock turbo (doesnt hold) External wastegate, yes external on stock turbo and manifold, 3" DP and exhuast, 550cc primaries, 720cc secondaries, stock top mount interheater, Apexi AFC Neo, 6 puck clutch and I made 221.

This guy with a 60-1 is making less Hp than what you signature says with more boost and a bigger turbo with an Rtek 2.1

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ighlight=t60-1

258 HP on stock turbo (now that its not a TD06 or a T04 whatever) on 6 psi sounds like a bunch of crap. You couldn't show me your T4 flange you have in comparison to the TD06 because you don't have that turbo. It doesn't look the same because you don't have the flange either. Greddy doesn't make a throttle body that Ive heard of. You said 11.5 - 12.5 AFR on 12 psi. That is a BIG jump, how does that look on your AFC fuel settings? Are you aware the power you loose going from 12.5 AFR to 11.5? How do you even hold 12 psi on a stock turbo? Can I see your engine bay or your car? Do you have a car?

Sorry dude, your cars set up seems to be changing constantly. How are you gonna get real answers to what you want if you keep changing things?

I think this thread should be locked.
The OP has no clue what he has, and he's claiming some really outrageous BS.

258 and 6psi on a stock turbo?
Uh...ok.

lopsided99, im sorry dude. im trying to believe that you are honestly mistaken, but you have to understand what everyone else is saying. IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. i would really like to believe you, but 20 years of collective worlwide turbo rx-7 experience doesnt lie...

Looks like there is some numbers or letters outside of the rectangle. Not sure if its a part number or not, but if you wanna find out what turbo that is, try to type those numbers on the engine search. If its a part number itll come up. Maybe with specs...

like aaron said its a hybrid stock. maybe ported and what not and larger compressor. you'll be amazed at ho simple set ups can actually make more initial wheel power rather then most with more mods. half the time its not half it is. how the car is tuned and how good really points out the most power outage. i have a simple set up and iv pulled on cars with more mods then the speed shop show room in the fast and curious and i wouldnt know how?! so i give props to you bro, i drive a black on black on black 89 s5 t2 sexy lil thang

all you guys cut him some slack somethings we just wouldn't be able to explain in life. so let this one go.

POST VIDEO!

get all up in the turbo area. We want to see where the downpipe meets the turbo specially. If we get aclear picture of this area we will be able to determine if its a stock/hybrid turbo or not.
