Max Airflow meter % on S-AFC???

Well, I think I resolved my oil pressure problem on my '91 TII. Now showing 60PSI at 3000rpm on the autometer gauge. So I floored it for the first time today.

Boost gauge says 11PSI 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear. Drops about 3-4 psi as it nears redline. And it is not as fast as I was expecting.

According to my S-AFC the MAX airflow % seen was 66%. That was floored up to about 7000RPM. Should it not go to 100%? I pulled the airfilter out and pushed the cone as far back as it go into the MAF and it only went to 88%. Should that cone not slide to 100%? So what max % do you guys see on the airflow meter?

Also it is only pulling 12" of HG at idle when it used to pull about 15" of HG. Guessing vac. leak somewhere.

James

Is your wastegate ported? I think that should be high on your priority list if not.

If nobody answers the other questions I'll go check my car to see what the S-AFC says, since I've never actually looked at the airflow %

I took my car out today. My airflow % seems to be only in the high 80s, you might want to try a different AFM if yours has been "adjusted" by someone.

I went and checked mine out today. Floored in 3rd gear, mine only went to around 66% also. Since we're on this topic, I was wondering what % your guy's throttle was at when idling? At idle, mine is around 10%, but I'm thinking it's supposed to be at 0%. Where do you guy's read at?

My airflow has gone to 100% on my 88. Especially on cold nights, not cats. 88s usesthe flap, that might make the different. Well 100 was too much, the car wasn't as fast so I had to tune it down on the high revs.
