matching stock white paint with spray paint

Anyone have a good spray paint that matches the stock s5 white? My car needs a paint job, but I don't want to pay a ton of money to do it because I plan on tracking my car. I don't need it looking show quality. just as long as I am not embarrassed driving around with diferent colored panels

when I painted a buddies hood it was pretty much the whitest white, I was using automotive paint but you should still have good luck trying a can or two of the whitest spray paint in the store

Like rob said, if it is the crystal white paint code, go with the whitest white spray paint you can find.

Also, keep in mind that rattle canning very flat surfaces (hood for example) is going to be really hard to make look even. If it is a track car then, who cares.

I'm actually repainting my whole car right now. I have a white s4 that I'm swapping parts out of a black s5, so going to spray can the whole car and see how it turns out. Anyway what I did is went on eBay and found the cheapest white spray can. RUST-OLEUM 1692830. The seller is zorotools. If you spend 20 bucks than I think the shipping is free.

I sprayed the roof and it looks very similar to the original color. Also get the rustoleum clear coat from them too.

Thanks for the replies guys. Right now I have most of my car an off white and a few pieces are brighter white. I will be going to the track but I still will be driving it on the street from time to time.

The rustoleum professional sprays in any position and actually has a good fan for a spray can. Spraying upside down is really helpful on the rockers and wheel wells Rust-Oleum Professional, 15 oz. Gloss White Spray Paint (6-Pack), 7592838 at The Home Depot - Tablet

The rustoleum with the trigger spray tip sucks *****

+1 I like getting the actual paint rather than close. I'm just picky like that though

I don't trust the sprays too much due to too many variables between can (Tips, cans, pressure, oils if any, etc.). Although, you can still get a nice job out of cans if you're very careful; a bit of luck helps.

Also I should mention, if you are doing spray can, than get one of those plastic spray guns that snaps onto a can. Tip: get one with a handle, not a trigger. They're like 10 bucks on eBay. And get a respirator. You can find a decent 3m for 30 bucks.

Automotive Touch Up Paint from PaintScratch - Order Pro Grade Paint

Ordered the Kit in WY to fix a rocker panel. It's pretty damn close.
