Master Cylinder. Help needed

Ok, so I am trying to rebuild my master cylinder because I am having problems with my clutch.

One problem though. HOW DO I GET THE DAMN THING OFF? The manual doesn't have the best descriptions, and I have unhooked everything (supposebly. I unhooked the hydrolic line, and the bolt by the clutch pedal. I assume that is the bolt I needed to unhook.)

SO, am I missing anything. The thing won't budge. Like it is permemantly glued to the thing.

So, help would be great. THanks.

Alex

I think he's talking about the clutch master, not the brake master.

There's the pin with the snap ring you have to take off that I think you've done. There's also two studs that go through the firewall with nuts that you remove from inside the car. There's one on each side of the pushrod.

Ok, so I have to remove the snap ring before I remove the master clylinder? I have removed the bolts, but it still won't budge.

And yes, thank you, I am talking about the clutch master cylinder.

There is a clip that has to be removed from the pedal, but that should be it besides the hydraulic line and two bolts inside the car. I think it's an "e" clip? Then a pin pulls out of the pedal and the cylinder can slide out (I think, it's been a while...).
