Master Clutch CYlinder dying every few months
I bought a Mazdatrix Brand new(not rebuilt) Master cylinder,SS braided line, and Slave a few months ago when I did my TII conversion.
I got the car running in say... June. So My Master cylinder started acting bad a month ago.
On long highway drives I would have to pump the clutch twice to downshift from 5th.
Then one day the pedal went completely dead and it took around 30 pumps to shift once.
So I finally got home and swapped in my old Master cylinder.
It then worked great for a few weeks.
In the mean time I bought a rebuild kit and rebuilt the bad cylinder as a back up.
Well it's been about a month and the cylinder is goin bad. On long drives staying in the same gear or long parked periods the clutch will lose pressure until it's a limp clutch. I lose about 1-3inches of travel.
For a temp fix I've adjusted the pedal play to make it push more.
If i pump the pedal 2-4 times it will go back to normal but I will hate having to do an emergency master cylinder swap on the side of a highway.
Any idea's or recommendations for aftermarket heavy duty cylinders?

I R SAD PANDA W/O BAW
I've read the stainless braided clutch line wears down the seals in the master cylinder prematurely but maybe it shouldnt do it every few months. What kind of pressure plate do you have?

Well it's a used clutch from my friend which has a 400+hp FC.
I think he mentioned it coudln't take the power so he upgraded. I think he said it was a Mazdaspeed clutch or something.
It was a blue pressure plate with organic sprung disk.
So far the car seems to slip a little as well so either the clutch is finally giving up or the hydraulics are going bad again(although they usually fail into the locked on position instead of disengaged).

If your master cylinder is wearing out that fast, you might just need to re-hone your cylinder before you rebuild it. sludge crust can build up in the cylinders and scrape at the rubbery bits, making them useless. Also, if there's a scratch or burr inside, the same will hapen.
