massive fuel leak

My car started leaking mass amounts of fuel yesterday. I traced it back to the pressure regulator control solenoid. It somehow has part of it broken off and is shooting gas out the back of it onto the block. I parked the car across town from my house and I am wondering what if there is any way to bypass this part to get the car home.

Could this mean that I have a big problem with my fuel pressure regulator that's making send fuel through a vac line?

Since it looks like I need to replace the fuel pressure regulator, how compatible are s5 fuel rails with an s4?

S4 FPR are threaded into the end of the rail.....S5 are permanently welded. You can use an S5 rail on a S4 car.
