Marker & Dash Lights Quit Working! Help!!!
Hey all,
Last night I was heading to a friends place when my dash lights when out. I messed with the dial a little bit and they came back on for a few seconds a couple times, but that was it. It turns out that all the marker lights and brake lights (when not on the pedal) were out too. The headlights stayed functional.
Now the strange part. When I press the brake, they all come on, dash, marker, and brake! I was thinking about changing the headlight control to see if that solves the problem, but the brake pedal issue seems to be much more involved than that. Any suggestions?

Definately sounds like the headlight switch.
When it goes it can also take the harness with it. With a fried harness, lots of weird things can happen.
Closely inspect the harness. If it's even a little burned, it'll probably kill the next switch you plug into it too.

its definately your switch. take out the switch and inspect the circuit board. you will probably find that one of the contacts is burned. check continuity between the board and the plugs and resolder any bad connections. If the plug is bad get one off a parts car.
