I am gonna try to make one myself. I also plan to cut a hole in the rad support so I can try to get some more air in there. I used cheap autozone pipe because I didn't want to have that ribbed hose.
I already paid $200 for a k&n and I just got rid of my maf because of megasquirt. So I cut holes for bolts in a 3 inch adapter(for some truck maf) and bolted it to my k&n adapter.
I will see if I can make a cold air intake that connects to my own air box with the K&n filter in the box for snow and driving in the rain.
I will make a thread about it when I am done.

I've seen it posted on here before. It can be made into a CAI intake by attaching some dryer tubing or something and routing it to a fresh air source. Of course if your gonna do that you might as well fab the whole thing up yourself.
