Manual Wiper control control????

Hello.

Is there a method to wire the front wipers to manual control for fast and slow??? Ive tried 3 controllers that claimed to work both speeds, but at this point I just need a way to manually wire in somethign that will just let me use a switch or button for these speeds. The previous owner really did a number on the dash wiring, I had to make manual controls for the heat and fan and rear wiper and squirter too already.

Look at the wipers wiring diagram. The L/W wire is for low speed and the L/R wire is for high speed. If you connect one of them ground to the black ground wire (via a switch) you will get that speed.

Dude, sweetness. I'll try connecting them manually to make sure they will work at those speeds, then set up a rocker switch for each. I already have a little button/switch panel that's going wher the stereo was for all the other stuff I have to manually operate anyway! So, if I am reading this correctly, I GROUND one lead for slow, ground the other for the fast? Any chance you know which pin in the harness they are??

I'd use a two-position switch rather the two seperate switches. Much more convenient.

I do know, because I looked at the wiring diagrams. If you don't have them, go to www.iluvmyrx7.com/2nd_gen_manuals.htm and download the Factory Service Manual (FSM) in PDF format for free.
