Manual transmission mounting points(searched)

Right now in my I have a custom bracket for my transmission from the auto to manual swap and I wanted to get the actual mounting point that are welded to the body at some point. The problem is I can't seem to find a part number for them, does anyone know the part number or know anywhere I could find the part number?

I don't believe you can order those seperate, you'd have to find someone parting a car out willing to cut them out and mail it. Then you can remove the spot welds, clean it up, and weld it in.

OR can you replicate one for me? will pay. im trying to get my car ready for the next car meet. Right now my 5speed is sitting on the auto tran bracket jacked up with Hard foam and held down with thick plastic ties like the police use... Yea i looked. i found this? http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2n...to_5speed.html

Now Im not game doing it this way.. What keeps the tranny firm from side to side? just the engine? because that just wont work for me. OH nm i over looked where they want you to add extra welds... but i guess they make you figure that out yourself

That sounds like quite the rig. While the corners may give you issues, I would be concerned about the torque as well.

Seriously it is simple to make your own adapter. Find the writeup and the template for it. Grab a 12 inch piece of box iron and drill your holes. Remember to measure twice and cut once.
