manual to power window swap

If i were to swap the doors off of a 91 gxl with power everything into my 87 with power nothing will everything plug right in or will it be a little more complicated than i think?? From what i have seen my manual window doors still have a wiring harness ran into them from the chassis even though nothing on them is power. Also under the door panel it has all the plugs that would plug into the window switches, regulator and the little corner light on the panel. so basically will it all just plug right in??

Alright well nobody helped out on this info so i learned the hard way and the answer is

No.

the wiring harness is different on the s5 doors and do not plug into the s4 harness so you must swap the door harness into the new doors for your series (much easier with the doors off) and everything should work fine.

So the good news i now have power windows and also just did a five lug conversion as well. So far invested about 500 dollars into this car i got for free.

hmm..so if i had an s5 with no power windows and used the stuff off of an s5 power window then i would not have to convert anything then rite???? lmk i might do it if theres no mods needed.

yeah far as i know the door harnesses are the same on s5 whether you have power windows or not. so if you wanted to just install the factory regulators and switches you could. Or you could just swap out the full door. but advice to anyone doing this stick to your series and save the trouble of swapping wiring.

Only down side to power window regulators are cost when they break. I hate replacing those things.
