manual boost controller without vac spider

Well, I read up on removing the vacuum spider and saw the bit about removing the boost solenoid, and it was okay as long as you have a boost controller, Well I have a cheap manual turbonetics piece and I am wondering if I am alright with that?

Thanks

Most any BC will work fine. Just tee it into the line for the bypass valve. That location gives the best control IMO. Also easiest to get to and some of the nipples near the throttle body actually measure pressure upstream of the plates. If you are not farmiliar with the vac system on these cars its easy to connect it to the wrong one and get eratic operation.

Anyone have a vac routing diagram, I am trying to get this done but I have 2 flanges on my LIM that arent blocked off and I am not sure what their for, maybe 1/2 inch holes and oval shaped with 2 studs on each. And I have no vac spider, no Solenoid rack and I am trying to route the vacuum lines. I also have aftermarket fuel system and FPR. and no OMP

Thanks
