manual to auto vice versa
manual to auto vice versa
alright i know about the auto to manual swap write up, etc. etc.
i just wanted to make sure before i actually try and do this.
my situation is i have an S4 non turbo auto fc.
im planning on buying my friends S4 non turbo manual fc.
i want to convert my FC to manual using his car as a donor car,
the thing i was wondering about is would i need any extra parts to convert his
to an automatic afterwards.
I plan on selling my friends fc after making it a manual.
im mainly wondering about the auto tranny cross member.
on rotaryresurrection it says that i need the one from the auto car.
so if i wanted to convert the manual one to auto, would i need another one?

if u want to make a manual to auto... use the manual cross member, make a adapter bracket to adapt it backwards to the auto tranny out of 3/8th steel or so.....
i did my 5 spd conversion recently, now saving money to get rpf1 from rishie, im still POOR!
i made adapter brackets with 5/8th steel, damn is that **** strong, the car felt so stock you had to get under the car to see that its converted... or u look at the tach with the prnd21
lol
