Manifold Suggestion,for TII.(??)

I would like some opinion on Exhaust Manifolds.
Which Manifold to use with a T4 type Turbo.(I'd need a Wastegate flange to run this setup).
At the "heart of my Question" is COST.and availability.(I am not buying from Japan.)
Thanks guys, please post Type, cost, website if possible.
Cheers,STYX.

Hum, sounds like you're broke! ;-) The cheap method.....http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1357. Just make sure you brace this manifold, and deburr. I know of one person going on two years w/it. No problems.

I think the manifold quality depends on the purpose of the car. If you're the type to go into boost occasionally with mostly street driving then get an ebay one. If you like to stay WOT in 4th/5th gear for long periods of time or do any type of racing then get a nice expensive one.

Or you could sacrifice a little boost response and get an HKS cast iron manifold for cheap.

yeah if your gonna go cheap do not get an ebay manifold...get a cast iron greddy or HKS manifold..it will last FOREVER and they are cheap..you can find them used all the time in the forsale section

Well, if you want cheap, then make one. Cut the flanges from 1/2" steel for a cost of about $10. Buy $50 worth of SCH 40 weld els and then go to town with a welder and cutoff wheel. A manifold for under $100 should be possible and the thick steel will last damn near forever.

I used the HKS log manifold on my old setup. It gets the job done, but it's not great for boost control or spool.

Look for a used FD single turbo manifold. If it is a long runner design it will most likely fit. I am using a long runner Feed FD manifold that's similar to the Greddy stainless FD manifold in design. Just say away from the HKS cast FD manifold. That will not fit very well, and even with a spacer clearance is tight from the pics I have seen.

I'm gonna have to agree with aaron on this one, build your own.

It'll be cheap, and you can do what you want, twin scroll, turbo positioning, great wastegate runners, whatever you wanna do, and on top of all that it'll be tough as hell.
