3 questions

well i have new scars all around. but my question is before i do any more work on my car that i didnt need to do in the first place i wanted to ask.

i am now in the process of taking out my airconditioning. and cut the belt. i took out the 2 bolts on the side. how many hold up that sob. and any tips of removing it before i get out the torch. just joking. but seriously how many bolts. and do i have to get under the car for any reason. like a hidden bold. idk.

also, i removed some junk, charcoal canister(little black bottle). and the bottle over there, the belt is cut for the ac. my voltage in the car now reads above 12 maybe 13.5 to 14. is that ok.

the wire on my new altenator. not the one that prongs to the back but the one with the thick gauge wire. is it the ground or does it hook to the battery, what does it hook to?

i love my car. beautiful beast. engine bay is looking real good. mounted msd box nicely in corner. to bad im computer illiterate or something

The AC compressor has 4 mounting bolts.
The bottom 2 just barely clear the frame, so it will take some time with an end wrench.

One of the lines to the charcoal canister is your gas tank vent.
You don't want that just dumping wherever.

Your alternator may have an aftermarket ground.
The origonal had no ground wire.
The insulated post with the stud & nut, is your primary + wire.

Check out the on-line manuals at the link in my sig.

You don't need to remove PS, I did this in August. Two bolts are a pain but not too hard. Also, get the evaporator and condenser out. I removed all lines as well.

for the bottom bolts is it easier to get them from underneath or from top.

the condenser is in front of the radiator, it looks like a little rad. Also get out the receiver/drier.

Evaporator is under the glovebox, make sure you disconnect the line to it from the engine bay first though.

man once u guys told me 2 bolts were under there it took me an half hour to pull it all out. my voltage inside reads 15 and was wondering what u guys think.
the, i guess power wire is the thick gauge wire off the altenator. and the other prong one is for the ecu i guess.
