Male and female harnesses everywhere

But there are some not hooked up. Do ya'll have any? I haven't checked the FSM wiring diagrams yet, but they seem complex.

Under the dash there's a yellow and black yellow wire harness. Then a green white and red blue wire harness. And a few more under the hood. Most likely one of them was from the illuminated ignition. There was also an aftermarket cruise control which added way complexity to everything.

All cars came with a full wiring harness so, depending on your model, there will be unused connectors for accessories that may not be present.

Also, in the engine bay there are diagnostic plugs, only used for testing.

As long as everything that's installed works, you have nothing to worry about.

The wiring diagrams may seem complex if you have not any experience with electronics, but they are easy to read when you get the hang of them. The FSM contains a good description of that the abbreviations and symbols mean. The diagrams will also tell you which plug connections can be found on, and on exactly which harness.

As for your disconnected connections, that's normal. They are there for options that your car does not have. Looking through the FSM will tell you what they are for.
