Making 86 non-turbo a turbo

i was woundering if i could make a non-turbo 86 rx7 a turbo. I have heard before that its fucin' hard but i am hopin' that someone else has a diffeerent answer that me and a buddie could do it he knows a lot about turbos but dosent know how to make a non-turbo a turbo.

not hard, just more steps and probably more expensive than just buying a TII in mid condition........but its up to you

But how do i do this instead of buying a turbo2 engine

better off buying a TII engine. Putting a turbo on an N/A is never as reliable. and costs as much.

You need a turbo upper and lower intake manifold plus a front cover off a turbo engine of the same series plus you NEED to feed the turbo water and oil and then RETURN the oil to the pan. It's not that hard but not that easy if you knowledge base is a touch low on RX.
