Thats a relatively new video, its a forum member on nopistons, he came back to say that the car dies at the end not because the motor popped, but because he ran out of gas.

i think people are confusing it with that vert a guy blew up a long time ago... the one where they removed the rad cap and all the coolant ran out so it overheated and popped

I believe there is a site listed on the video...
www.southfloridaracing.com
Looks like another forum. I couldn't find the video on there, although I didn't try very hard either. I have the video if someone would like to post it.

My girlfriend wrecked her old 88 honda civic. So, I decided to do a duralube test. I took off the oil fill cap, and stuck the garden hose in there. Turned the hose on, and started the car. Stuck a stick on the gas pedal so the engine was bouncing off the rev limiter. It ran for probably 15-20 minutes and it was literally gushing out white **** around the hose (oil/water mix being pushed out by the blowby). It was still running fine except a dumbass friend of mine stuck a handfull of dirt in the throttle body. That shut it down.
Hondas can really take some abuse. I was very impressed with it. But, I expect a piston motor to hold up to heat better than a rotary. The amount of time this rotary ran at WOT, was very impressive... Sad, but impressive.

theres that one movie i saw of that crx running max rpm's for everrrrrr and they dump water in the intake and run it without oil and such
but yea shows how amazing the good ol' wankle is
but i have one question
he has to have a fuel cell or how the hell did he not run out of gas

notice how some people say rotarys are still **** and this proves nothing cause they did this with a piston motor..... i find it funny that in both those vids, this one and that vert one a while back both motors had no compression in the rear rotor yet they still were able to withstand such extreme abuse.... go think about that one
