Unhappy a major short somewhere in my motor? help.

so i blow window motor fuses on a fairly regular basis.. like 3 times a day..

sometimes i can drive around for a few days without it blowing.. i HAVE tore the door apart, i have no interior/carpet and havn't found any shorts in the wiring inside

but now i have an even bigger problem, sometimes when i go to start my car it wont turn over.. it will just make a "clink" sound a few times, and then start..

what the ****?

are you putting the correct amperage fuse for the windows?
and search for "starter issue" and im sure will be able to fix your "no start" problem

Try jiggling the key to rule out a bad ignition switch first.

It is a 30a fuse. The biggest they make for the size. I wouldn't go putting a 10a in and wonder why it keeps blowing.

And I dont believe it is starter related.. I think my wiring is just about shot :/

So you tore apart the door and checked the wires inside the door.. Have u checked the wires in the door jam? Common for wires to break at door jam since the door pivots there

You need to check the resistance of the wire between two points and it should help you to isolate the problem. The fuse also powers the "Auto Adjusting Suspension" feature as well. Your car might or might not have this wiring so look into that too. You could also disconnect the Front harness from the Door harness and see if this stops the fuse popping. And you should have a door harness in each door so have you checked both doors?

Yeah, I checked both sides.. this is getting sooo annoying hahaha

I thiiink it might be the window regulator switches shorting somewhere though.. sometimes if I jiggle it it will stop blowing the fuse.. but maybe I'm being too hopefull, cuz I actually joggle it jut about everytime even when it does blow.
