Unhappy Major Help is Needed!

Hi Everybody

I have an 1987 Mazda RX-7 Turbo II and i have a couple of problems with it.

Well for one, my car will start but shuts off after 2 seconds. the only way i can keep my car running is if i hold down on the gas pedal.

My car is also leeking colant from what seems to be near the center of the car on the passenger side. it just started to leak today when i had start my car today to test out my new battery.

And i bought a battery on friday and i left it on my plastic lawn chair in my garage. Yesterday i installed my battery in the car and every thing was fine. power worked fine, car started with no leaks (shuts off unless i hold on the trottle). then this morning i went to see if i needed oil and i had no power at all in my car.

I would really apreciate some advice!

Tyrone

car revs up to like 3K then dies?? something kinda like that?? sounds like a semi/large vacume leak to me??

the coolent leak, there is a coolent line running ot the turbo on that side, a line running to the BAC on the side of hte intake manifold, and then theres also a line that runs under hte intake manifold which can cause a hard to find leak!.

the last part if its a new battery and it was good when u left it, and dead now, then that means you have some type of drain on the system, either a small short or somthing is stuck on draining power.

if it revs to 3k then dies then your cold start tank is empty, since you living in canada and all that is a factor. does it stay running after its warmed up?
