main relay problems

main relay problems
I'm finishing up my 89 N/A swap into my FB and I amd having a few problems with the wiring. I'm using the stock S5 ECU and harness.
My problem is I cant seem to figure out what exactly turns on and off the main relay. I know it must connect to the ignition switch somehow, but all the wiring diagrams in the FSM dont show any connections from the main relay to the ignition switch.
What should I do here?

The main relay should be activated with the same lead as the circuit opening relay which powers the fuel pump.
Both are controlled off the Igntion 1 wire (Black/white) in the FC
