Ok so i finally got my car running and it was running fine... So i decided to adjust the tps and put the ecu back under the carpet and clean some stuff up...well when i put the intercooler back on and tried to crank the car it cranked for like 3 seconds then died. I tried to crank it again and saw that the tach was not jumping a lil, which tells me its not firing...Well when i turn the key to on the main relay is not clicking now???? I tried another known good relay and still nothing...wat could be causing this??

go through every fuse in the engine bay and check continuity with a multimeter.

 

i went through all the fuses in the bay, i jumped 12v to the main relay and the car cranks up and runs fine...

 

anyone kno where the main relay gets its power from??

 

You turn the key ON, tHE batt power goes thru the key to the interior fuse box. It feeds the ENGINE fuse which in turn feeds the coil on the Main Relay and that's how stuff works.

Kinda just like the wiring diagrams that can be downloaded from the FAQ thread on this site.

 

lol sry about that, just weird that it would work then boom nothing...maybe its the fuse or something in the interior fuse box....
