Main Fuse Cover missing, need fuse description
Can anyone give me a description for '86 GXL fuses in the hood compartment

Inboard to outboard:
1. EGI COMP
2. EGI INJ
3. HEAD
4. MAIN FUSE
5. EMPTY HOLE
6. BTN
7. RETRACTOR

One of the above might be the fuse box in the engine bay. On the other hand it might be the one in the crew compartment. Who knows with this site.

thats just weird....
Errmm-- I have two missing fuses, one the deadspot, and one the "ENG INJ" not to mention my main fuse is a 100am. hmm. Sorry, not thread whoring either... just curious. must be an s5 thing. yeah thats probably definately it

A series five should have:
1. AIR BAG 30A
2. ABS 60A
3. MAIN 100A
4.EGI 30A
5. RETRACTOR 30A
6. HEAD 30A
7. BTN 60A
BTN isn't clear in its moniker. It protects the light switch, heater and a/c.
And while we're on the subject of MAZDA, I just saw on Autoweek on the telly, that MAZDA is giving a rebate to people who put dough down for a RX8. Why? Because they misled people by saying the the car had X horsepower when in reality the car will only have Y horsepower. Y being less than X of course. It never works the other way. Ugly car.
