Pull ALL of the other main fuses. Replace Main fuse. Replace other fuses one at a time until the MAIN blows. Tell us which one caused it to blow.

OR

Check your charging system wiring. Possible you have a short..

my friend's car had the same issue.we could not find the short it kept blowing the main fuse.some car electrical shop quoted us 200 bucks to find the short.i insited one more try. well guess what i found. he started the car again after another fuse was installed a buzz zz main fuse blown again .only now i could tell it was coming from underneath his mass air flow meter.apparently my buddy (jackass)hee he had left his led tester plugged in on the car.it some how got lodged under the flow meter and fused with the body of the car causing the short. i removed it bam problem solved a 12 pack of heinekens later we had a good laugh...

ok im a little confused now. i pulled all other fuses then replaced the 80 amp main

fuse for the second time. this time when i connected the battery something

poped, which sounded like it came from near the starter, and the copper colored

wire inside the fuse changed color but didn't blow. i replaced all the other fuses

one by one and nothing. my car starts and runs just fine now but my worry is why

did this happen.

Thats really weird. There is definately a short, but what jrat said was so you could isolate where the short was coming from.
