main 80A fuse removal!!

Like a dumbass, i connected the battery backwards and blew my main fuse, the 80 amp black one. (actaully, mazd'as the idiot for marking the positive terminal BLACK) anyway, i've mangled the damn fuse trying to get it out... is there some sort of goddamn trick to it or something? the rest of the fuses come out easily, but it seems like the main was superglued in there!

thanks in advance.

there are 10mm bolts on the sides. Use a flate bladed screw driver to pop them out.

ha ha, this one gets the best of us! you need to lift the plastic tab on the sides of the fuse and remove two 10mm (I think) bolts in the front, and one (I think) in the rear. in other words, that bitch is bolted in!

Yep its bolted in, its not going ANYWHERE unless you take out the bolts...

I wonder what the idea was behind that anyway?
