Lubrication of u joints?

How often should this be done? And how is it properly done? I'm assuming we just throw some grease on (any kind of grease?) but I'm probably wrong.

the stock u joints are not regreasable or replaceable (well not as easy as other cars). If you have an aftermarket driveshaft with fill joints.... check to make sure stuff is full and gliding down there.
