LSD Questions... can I?

I've got a 87 base with the four lugs. I'm interested in changing it from open diff to LSD, for a few traction reasons, as in, I'd like better traction in the snow. Now, what would be some good resources on how to better research what to buy and who from. Also, how much work does it take to switch?

Thanks.

If you get a factory built LSD(clutch or viscous) from another N/A, the rear end asembly will bolt up in place. KAAZ makes a LSD center chunk that will replace your open diff, but that involves opening up the carrier.
