LSD Question

Sup guys,

I had a question about installing a Helical LSD such as this one.

Will I need anything else like axles, and what will the install require?

BTW I'm installing on a '87 Sport with stock Open Diff.

should be bolt in, however you will need someone capable of setting pinion preload to install that differential.

supra forum should be doing a test on these pretty soon, one of the michigan guys with ~450whp is going to thrash on one, i think their taking donations right now to pay for the diff (5-10 per person) and in return you get results on if its worth the money or not. (thread was stickied in the MKIII section last time i was there)

on another note Honda guys have been using these with good results for a while now, the older ones were said to have fitment issues but new ones are fine.

What kind of place will preload the pinions? Should I just start calling places? Any tips would be helpful. Thanks.

P.S. I live in the 90028 area code.

most drive line shops or places that rebuild trannmissions and rear ends should be able to do it irf you don't have the tools (it is covered in the FSM).
