LSD only locks up one way?
ok so my LSD locks up randomly when turning to the right. sometimes it will lockup for a sec, then stopping locking. does that mean it's done? it locks up 100% of the time when turning to the left.
Thanks

it shouldnt lock up at all when turning, limited slip means what it says. when you turn it should open up and the wheel to the outside should be the power wheel. when on the throttle in a straight line it will lock up. how do you know its locking up? can you feel it? it will feel kind of weird if it locks up when turning, youll also hear the tires bark or slide slightly. i had two 4x4 toyota's with lockers and of course locked up when turning, it feels kinda funny.

ok let me put it this way . . . turning left the car puts down power like it has an LSD, turning right, the car puts down power like it's open diff. so basically it will rape one tire when turning right.

that wont tell you anything. you can physically feel the rear end lock. it will fell real weird, ive had many cars/trucks with lockers and lsd's, best way to put it the car/truck will feel like the rear end is shifting... but it weird, like its floating and shifting at the same time... i dunno i can explain it but youll knwo it. power outage will not be affected really just turning around a corner other than spinning the tires or barking the tires. when you turn the helical gears or clutches (depending on if you have s4 or s5 or gxl/t2) will be separated when turning, they lock together when the throttle is snapped in a straight line
