this has probibly been answered before.. but i'm just a lazy bastard.

The question is... can a KAAZ LSD for a TII fit into the housing of a non TII?

If not, then what models, besides the TII, has an LSD?

I am looking at some 'rexs online for a good, not too expensive, daily driver and a sometimes SCCA/drift/drag car. You know, some versitility in the life. thanks guys!

not sure if KAAZ makes an LSD that fits, but Torsens out of Miatas will.

Searching will reveal most of the models, but the primary model that had LSDs aside from the T2 and GTU/GTUs are 86-88 Manual transmission GXLs.

Lot's of GXL's have em... even the ones that are not supposed to. My 1990 GXL shouldnt have one... but lo and behold it's there .

All GTUs's have em. All S4 GXL's have em. not sure about ALL GTU's. The driveshaft and hald-shafts will be drifferent...

 

It looks like i'm getting an '87 so mapy I will. I'm taking it to get an inspection before I buy. So, I will make a point of find that out.
